Hello and welcome back! I’m really excited to share this post with you! I love this memory jar and use it everyday. A cool DIY and an easy way to keep you motivated and positive!

What we’ll need:
- A medium sized jar
- Ribbon
- PVA glue or a glue gun
- Stickers or any decorations
- A label
Let’s get started!
I began with the label which I created on a word document using the text box and shape tools. You can really make this personal to you. I chose to write ‘Best Memories of 2017’ on the label. The jar will contain a collection of lots of positive and good things that have happened that I can look back on at the end of the year.
Our next step is to glue the ribbon around the top of the jar using PVA. I found that the PVA didn’t stick the ribbon very well though so switched to my trusty glue gun halfway through.

Once the ribbon had dried and set onto the glass, I glued on my label and a 3D butterfly sticker on the front of the jar.

Now for the finishing touches! I found some silver gems that already had an adhesive on the back on them which I stuck on the glass at random.

And there you have it! Your very own memory jar! I have some multi-coloured paper which I’ll be cutting up into small strips to write my memories onto. Hopefully by the end of the year, the jar will be full and still look pretty with all it’s different colours!
