Hello! This blog post is going to be a little different from my usual posts because I have some exciting news to tell you!
Firstly, I have now been blogging for 7 months and am thoroughly enjoying it! To be honest, I’ve always struggled with writing especially during school but blogging is just so very different. I now look forward to writing so I can share my ideas and projects with you!
Now, this also means that I have had my own Etsy shop for 7 months, if you want to check it out here it is – ETSY/ABOB. I’ll be doing a lot more on there very soon so keep an eye out for blog posts to do with that!
And last but definitely not least! A Box of Buttons blog has been nominated for an award by the brilliant blogger, Milliesfeuille. I want to say a huge thank you for taking the time to have a read of my blog, let alone nominate me!
The Rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
- Nominate 10 new bloggers.
- Answer the questions asked by the person who nominated me.
- Create 10 new questions for the bloggers I nominate.

My Questions to Answer:
What made you want to start blogging?
-My sister originally got me into blogging. I hadn’t even considered to start a blog myself because I always struggled with writing and didn’t enjoy it. However, since starting my blog, I’ve loved every minute of it.
If you could change one thing about your blog what would it be, and why?
-The amount of time that I can invest in it and maybe improve on the appearance of it!
What is your favourite album to listen to in the kitchen?
-I absolutely love ABBA. I guess their songs are kind of my guilty pleasure and my absolute go to music to listen/sing badly to whilst baking. Plus they always manage to cheer me up.
What is your go-to cook book?
-Definitely a Mary Berry cook book. The Ultimate Cake Book one to be precise.
If you had the chance to live abroad for a year, where would you go and why?
-I’m not really sure to be honest. I’ve only ever been abroad to France and I really liked it there so maybe I could live there some time in the future.
Who do you most admire in life?
-Um this one is tricky. I don’t have one single person that I admire to be honest. I always admire my family and all the hard work they put into everything they do but I guess I admire people who keep trying even when things aren’t going in their favour.
What are your three favourite books to read?
-Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, Belle by Lesley Pearce and Angelfall by Susan EE. I list all my books on a site called Goodreads so if you’re interested in having a look at all the books I’ve read you can here – https://www.goodreads.com/Hann_lloyd96
If you could spend the day cooking with a chef of your choice, who would it be and why?
-Perhaps Heston Blumenthal, just because he is so creative with his food and is always experimenting. I’m a bit like that with my baking, never know how it’s going to turn out!
What new skill would you like to learn and why?
-Well lately I’ve really been getting into fitness and would love to learn how to do either aerial hoop or aerial silks but I definitely need to work up to it!
What was one of your most defining moments in life?
-I’m not sure it has happened yet, although I look forward to it.
New questions for nominees to answer!
- What do you love to do in your spare time (aside from blogging)?
- Do you like musicals? If so which is your favourite?
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
- What has been your biggest challenge to date?
- What would your perfect day entail?
- What are your goals to achieve for this year?
- What motivates you?
- If you could change anything about your life, what would it be and why?
- Do you have a favourite movie?
- What is your favourite song that makes you want to get up and dance?
Thanks for all of your support and I hope you come back to check out new DIY’s and recipes!
Ooh, Congrats, Hannah! And thanks for nominating me! I don’t usually do tags, but I might do this one! I don’t know yet. Congrats again, and I wish you many more bloggiversaries to come! 😀
